Tamara Harris-Boman's Blog Talk Radio Program 'Real Talk with THB'
On Thursday evening, Aug. 16th, 7 pm, I had the distinct pleasure of being interviewed by Tamara Harris-Boman, on the Blog Talk Radio Program 'Real Talk with THB' Bringing today's leaders together, Birmingham, AL area. It was an incredible experience and I have rec'd. wonderful emails about it. TH Boman, asked many a poignant question concerning racism, including, How do we heal a wounded society, >still heavily invested in it? Naturally, we also shared our own answers to those questions. Be sure to offer your own solutions in the comments section of the program.
You can follow this link to listen and be sure to add you comments to it.

Child abuse & Racism
Here is a blog posted today by Catherine McCall MS.,LMFT, mentioning a story I told on "Ask Dr. Annie Abram" Citizen Blog Talk Radio several days ago. While we often discuss "child abuse" in general, we all too rarely include the racism children of color are exposed to and the impact these abuses in the classroom and elsewhere exact upon them. Or, for that matter, the white children who are witnesses to racism on their friends, how it effects them and their relationships. Why is that? We can guess & have a great deal more to do about it
